The Annex was created through partnership. First, Logan County Economic Development joined the effort. Next, Logan County and the City of Sterling took part. In addition, state partners supported the project. Together, these groups shared one goal.

They wanted to reuse an existing building. Because of this, the project supports smart development. At the same time, it supports local workers.

The Annex supports modern work needs. For example, many people now work remotely. However, working from home can feel lonely. Therefore, The Annex provides shared space.
